Dolce Paradiso Bakery, Cafe, & Bistro: Reviews & Ratings
While in town visiting family, we came to check out Dolce Paradiso, and I’m now sad we have to leave town because nothing at home compares to this! The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming the first day we stopped by. The second day in town, we walked by the cafe, and the owner made a point to come outside and say hi to us, remembering us from the day before! The coffee and food is absolutely phenomenal. My fiancé even kept saying how much better the pastries were than his Nonna’s! The breakfast avocado toast and breakfast potatoes were the best I’ve ever had, and honestly trying to figure out how I can take a whole batch of the potatoes home to Ohio with me. The customer service is incredible, and they really make you feel like family. I cannot recommend this place enough!
It took a really long time for my Mille-feuille- the cream was really good but the pastry was just so-so Coffee was also just ok, nothing to write home about The other food and pastries looked good- may come back to try and give a 2nd chance
Absolutely incredible family run restaurant. I got an iced coffee with this as well that was delicious. It’s a great place to study or work on a laptop while you enjoy the beautiful neighborhood and atmosphere.
Love love love!!! Food was amazing, we got burgers, a salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, coffee, and a croissant. I got the spicy burger which had Ethiopian spices as the meat seasoning and it was exquisite!! Gabriel was very kind and patient with us, service was amazing. Definitely stop by for breakfast or brunch when you’re in the area, or even if you’re not!
This place is literally a slice of heaven hidden in Addison Texas. We had the omelet with diced ham served in a croissant, and the French toast. This food almost made us cry it was so good. And the iced vanilla latte was creamy silky delicious. It looks to be family owned and there’s cute pictures of the family on the walls, this food was made with LOVE and I could taste it. If I could rate this 20/10 I would.
A Must-Visit Gem in Addison! My fiancé and I came into town from Ohio to visit family for just four days, and on our very first day, we happened to stop into Dolce Paradiso-not knowing what to expect. And wow... we were completely blown away. The customer service here is next-level. The owner herself took our order and was incredibly kind and respectful. You could feel her passion and love for the place from the moment we walked in. The next day, we just happened to be walking by--and she came running out to say hello and check in on us. She even remembered our names! It honestly felt like visiting our own Nona--warm, welcoming, and full of heart. The shop is cozy and beautifully decorated with her family photos, giving it a very homey, personal feel. And the pastries? Unreal. Hand-made to order, fresh, and truly some of the best Italian pastries we've ever had. (Sorry Nona-good thing she doesn't use Yelp, or l'd be in trouble!) The coffee was rich and flavorful, and every bite we had was perfect. Seriously, perfect! But what really sets this place apart is the feeling you get when you're there. We didn't just feel like customers--we felt like family. Dolce Paradiso isn't just a pastry/breakfast shop, it's a full experience. If you're anywhere near Addison, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You'll leave with a full heart and an even fuller stomach.
It was an amazing, cozy Mother's Day experience. The wife loved it, and so did I. Wife had the Eggs Benedict, and I had the stuffed croissant.
An amazing dine in cafe with a welcoming environment. The food was amazing and well seasoned all around. Everything is feels home made and a great all around brunch spot. In addition prices are very reasonable in comparison to other restaurants nowadays!

As I explored the menu, I was particularly drawn to the vibrant lunch and brunch options. The spicy burger with Ethiopian spices that Enid Contreras enjoyed reflected a unique fusion of flavors, while the omelet served in a buttery croissant that made Ryan Z emotional captures the creativity on offer. It’s evident that each dish is crafted with attention to detail, ensuring that every bite is a taste of heaven.
While there might be occasional mixed feedback, like that from Melissa Piquette regarding the Mille-feuille, the overall customer sentiment remains overwhelmingly positive. The ambiance is not just for dining; it serves as an ideal study space or work spot, as noted by Zackary Smutzer, who appreciated the lovely environment.
